Mackness Contracting is a small, family-run groundworks and landscaping company nestled in North West Essex. We operate around the local area, covering most of Essex, Herts, Cambs and Suffolk. We operate a range of modern, well-maintained machinery, including mini diggers, dumpers, rollers, grass care equipment and much more.

All available for hire with a fully qualified operator to complete any task or project you may have to the highest of standards. We can provide a complete design and construction service and will take on any project no matter how large or small. We are fully insured and guarantee to be prompt, reliable and competitive.

Services

Equine

We have a depth of experience to serve the ‘groundwork’ needs for a simple one or two stable installation as well as a large stable block, yard or ménage for private homes or equestrian centres. Our team is familiar with working in equestrian environments and understand the requirements of equestrian clients and more specifically, the horses.

Driveways

A comprehensive driveway service, encompassing a full design and build service. Whether you are simply looking to have repairs carried out on an existing driveway or a complete new driveway installed Mackness Contracting can cater to every situation.

Plant Hire

Mackness contracting have a modern fleet or plant that is available for hire with or without an operator including mini diggers, dumpers, rollers, trailers, small plant such as wacker plates and disc cutters.

Fencing

We can supply and erect any form of fencing that is required, installing complete new fences or a maintenance service is also available for existing fences that may require repair .
